Although Cadillac unveiled the 2025 Escalade last month, the brand-new car isn’t anticipated to hit dealer lots until early 2019. Now that we have prices, customers will have plenty of time to transfer funds around. Due to a significant redesign for the midpoint of the current third-generation SUV, every trim is now more expensive than it was previously. After destination, let’s start with the sums and how they differ from 2024
The following prices are for the two-model options: Luxury: $89,590 ($5,700); Premium Luxury: $98,790 ($$3,600); Sport: $99,390 ($1,200); Premium Luxury Platinum: $118,390 ($5,700); Sport Platinum: $118,890 ($6,200); V-Series: $161,990 ($7,700).
Cadillac didn’t mention the premium for getting the stretched ESV version, but that’s also an additional $3,000 on the 2024 model. The 2025 model year makes the Sport Platinum trim $500 more expensive than the Premium Luxury Platinum. Previously, those two trims were priced identically. These prices are for the two-wheel-drive variants for every trim except the V-Series, which only comes with AWD. Adding 4WD to the others is a $3,000 option.
Every trim level except the V-Series will only be available with the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The V-Series transforms that big-bore engine into a forced-induction weapon, producing 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft from a supercharged 6.2-liter. The turbodiesel inline-six will no longer be available as an option after 2024.
What then do those extra ducats cover? The interior was influenced by iQ. A new 55-inch “pilar-to-pillar” screen that houses the entertainment system for the front passenger and driver (measured at 20 inches and 35 inches, respectively) and instrument cluster is standard on all Escalades. The “Command Center” screen, which controls popular features including seat controls, camera views, car safety features, and heating and cooling, is located beneath them. If you would prefer not to bend forward in order to engage with the large display, there is a redundant multi-function control knob (shown above right) that is included with the giant touchscreen.
