There is a lot riding on this; these are your dreams, and you are making them come true.
It is imperative that you take all action possible to make your vacation more successful. It’s funny how obstacles in life find their way into our paths. When we exhaust ourselves before a vacation, we make it easier for health problems to arise. It consequently makes those obstacles larger. We are more likely to get hurt when traveling because we are in unfamiliar surroundings. We consume unfamiliar cuisine, expose our bodies to diseases that are unfamiliar to our immune systems, and suffer from fatigue, dehydration, and jet lag. The happiness and experience that will change your life will make everything worthwhile, even with all that craziness.
I would rather not acknowledge how many decades I have spent as a nurse. I consider it an honor to have been a part of that profession, and I would gladly do it again. It helped me take good care of my family and friends as well as myself on a professional level. I cherished my patients; these incredible individuals have contributed far more to life than I could have ever imagined. The last misfortune I experienced was during our vacation in Croatia. I made the easiest twist to place a shirt on a pile while folding clothes exactly twenty days prior. Suddenly, something popped in my knee, leaving me utterly helpless to bear any weight on that leg. I was definitely in serious trouble. My right knee’s meniscus was found to be severely torn after an MRI. Oddly enough, it was the one joint in my body with which I never experienced any problems.

In order to achieve your goals and overcome obstacles in life, it is crucial to persevere and never give up. I have experienced numerous health problems and catastrophes prior to travel, as well as a few while traveling. To get healthier before the trip, I don’t always heed my own counsel.
As life throws its surprises at us, we might modify our trip strategy. But the chances will be on our side if we can enhance our physical and mental conditions before we depart. No matter what the travel gods throw at us, we will be far better prepared if we are well-rested, robust, and healthy.
Prior to leaving, take care of your body and mind.
In the months leading up to your trip, begin walking more often. Aim to incorporate ridges and undulating terrain. Become stronger in your feet and legs. To break in your travel shoes, wear the ones you plan to bring. Stretching before and after a stroll might help your body become somewhat more flexible and improve your balance.
To help you detox, add some fresh lemon juice to your normal intake of water. If you take supplements, be sure to take them every day to support optimal bodily function and, most importantly, to fortify your immune system. I begin this roughly a month in advance of my trip.

The week before your trip, get plenty of sleep. Try your hardest; I know it’s easier said than done. There are many who think you can begin adjusting your body to the new time zone. Go ahead and do it if it works for you; I’m not on that boat. We don’t require the addition of any long-term interventions because our routine for preventing jet lag is so effective.
This is not the time for heavy fried food, plenty of carbohydrates, or sweet desserts. Instead, eat a healthy, balanced diet.
Give yourself a manicure, facial, pedicure, massage, or all of the above. If you wish to save money, you can accomplish a lot of this on your own. Maintaining healthy skin and relaxed muscles is beneficial for both physical and mental well-being. You deserve to take care of yourself; it is imperative!
To make yourself feel as good as you appear, get a haircut or new hair color.
